Custom Olympic Lifting Programming

Juggling Olympic lifting and Crossfit and work and recovery can be overwhelming.

Sometimes we bite off more than we can chew, or maybe we program hop so frequently that progress slows to a halt. Let Coach James program your Oly workouts so you can get stronger without having to plan for hours.

James has experience programming for:

  • Crossfitters who also want to Oly lift
  • National Level Youth with school sports
  • Masters lifters who need extreme endurance and lifting
  • Olympic lifters with full time jobs
  • Complete beginners

Plans are completely customized to you–your lifting ability, schedule, goals, and more are considered. If you ever have questions or need to change something, James will respond within the day.

Technique Workshop

We all want beautiful Olympic lifting technique, but it can be hard to know exactly what to work on. If you want to improve your lifts but don’t know where to start, join coach James for a custom Technique Workshop. You’ll leave with improved movement and, more importantly, strong knowledge of what constitutes good technique. You get together a group of 4 like-minded lifters, and we’ll set up a workshop just for you. Coach James will work with you to identify areas for improvement and a plan to work on it in the future.

$45, 1.5 hours, 4 people maximum

Short lecture and more than an hour of hands-on with light weights. Please wear workout attire and Olympic lifting shoes (or shoes with non-compressible soles).

1-on-1 Coaching

If you’re relatively new to the Olympic lifts or want more time with a coach, consider a 1-on-1 session. Learn to lift safely and efficiently with a USAW Sports Performance Coach. Coach James will work with you to identify areas for improvement and a plan to work on it in the future.

$50 per hour
$135 for 3 hour long sessions

Competitive Olympic Weightlifting Team

If Weightlifting is your primary athletic focus, James can coach you as part of Rocket’s Barbell Club.
