Sometimes you’re not ready to Blast Off yet. You need something more, and that’s what our Launch Pad is all about. For people who are seriously deconditioned, somewhat afraid and fairly sedentary, we’ve created a slow and steady process to face the fear together. With a maximum of 8 members, this class is designed for extra-personal focus.
This 8-week series, with Alyssa Royse, pays extra attention to the body-soul connection. We’ll talk more than we do in most of our classes (and are fully prepared for a few tears,) focusing on body-image and goal setting in a way that celebrates who you are and where you are. We’ll bring in Physical Therapists to assess our movement, nutritionists to talk about minor changes that can have huge impact, mobility specialists to lube our joints and get us ready to move. You’ll also have access to email and meet with Alyssa one-on-one if that’s something you want.
And yes, we’ll work out. Our hope is that with 8 weeks of classes, you’ll have formed the habit of moving and be ready for our regular Blast Off classes. Or to go join the circus, or a dance troop, or marauding mob of roller skaters. Whatever, just feel better in and about your body.
Tuesday and Thursday, 6:30 PM January 9 – Feb 8
$500 billed in two payments. First payment upon registration. 2nd payment February 1.
